Air fry pre-baked bread rolls at 350°F for 4–6 minutes to heat through and refresh the crust. For raw dough rolls, air fry at 350°F for 12–15 minutes until golden and hollow-sounding when tapped.
Place rolls directly in the basket without overlapping. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 4–6 minutes. The circulating hot air restores the crust's crispness far better than a microwave. Lightly mist with water before reheating for an even crispier crust.
Let raw dough rolls complete their second rise before air frying. Place in the basket with space between each roll. Air fry at 350°F for 12–15 minutes until deep golden on top and an instant-read thermometer in the center reads 190°F (88°C).
If the tops brown too fast before the interior cooks, tent loosely with foil for the last few minutes. Brushing with an egg wash before cooking gives a glossy, deeply browned finish. A brush of butter immediately after cooking adds flavor and shine.
Frozen pre-baked rolls can go straight from freezer to air fryer. Cook at 330°F for 8–10 minutes, checking at 7 minutes. No thawing required.
