Air fry canned cinnamon rolls at 330°F (165°C) for 8–10 minutes. They bake faster than a conventional oven and come out fluffy inside with a lightly golden top. Apply the included icing immediately after cooking.
Set the air fryer to 330°F (165°C) — lower than most cooking temps because cinnamon rolls need time to rise and cook through before the outside browns. Place rolls with space between them (they expand). Cook 8–10 minutes until puffed and the tops are light golden. Check at 8 minutes; if still doughy in the center, add 2 more minutes.
Line the basket with parchment paper or use a small round parchment liner to prevent sticking and contain any filling that bubbles out. Do not use foil — it blocks airflow and can cause uneven cooking. Lightly spritz the parchment with cooking spray for extra insurance against sticking.
Pillsbury or similar canned rolls work perfectly at 330°F for 8–10 minutes. Homemade rolls that have completed their second proof cook at the same temperature but may need 12–14 minutes depending on thickness. Check the center roll — it is always the last to cook through. An internal temperature of 190°F confirms doneness.
Apply icing as soon as the rolls come out of the air fryer while they are hot. The heat thins the icing so it flows into every gap and crevice. If you prefer a thicker icing layer, wait 3 minutes before applying. Serve immediately — cinnamon rolls are at their best within the first 15 minutes.
