Pack filling firmly into pepper halves or whole peppers. Place in the basket. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes. Add shredded cheese in the last 5 minutes of cooking. The pepper should be tender when pierced and the filling steaming hot — check with a thermometer if using meat filling (165°F/74°C).
Serve with sour cream, salsa, hot sauce, or a simple tomato sauce. Stuffed peppers reheat well in the air fryer at 350°F for 8–10 minutes the next day.
